Permission for development on the site of the former Vita Cortex plant on Kinsale Road and Pearse Road, Ballyphehane, Cork. The proposed development will consist of the remediation of the site, which will involve a combination of excavation and off-site disposal of impacted soils, pump and treatment of groundwater, and importation of stone/soil for backfilling. An on-site temporary compound is proposed for the duration of the proposed remediation works. The existing ESB Substation on the site will remain in situ. The proposed development relates to a development which comprises an activity requiring an Integrated Pollution Control Licence issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) (Licence No: P0059-02, formerly P0059-01)
