Permission for alteration/modification of the 191 no. bedroom hotel permitted under registered reference 21/40018. The proposed development consists of (1) The omission of the rooftop restaurant, bar waiting area, kitchen, store, toilets and services areas and their replacement with 10 no. long-stay suites. (2) At ground floor the omission of the previously permitted access to rooftop restaurant from Camden Place and the relocation of the entrance serving the ground floor cafe also from Camden Place. (3) Internal alterations at ground floor level comprising the increase in floor area of the cafe, omission of 2 no. meeting rooms and the reconfiguration of lobby areas, service areas, gym, kitchen, staff welfare and administrative floor space. (4) Associated elevational changes to fenestration and building treatments and the provision of additional signage. (5) And all ancillary site development works. The proposed development will increase the total hotel accommodation on site to 201 no. bedrooms comprising 148 no. hotel bedrooms and 53 no. long stay suites. The proposed development consists of or comprises the carrying out of works to a Protected Structure.
