Permission for development on lands measuring 0.1399 Ha located within an existing car park at the south-east corner of Wilton Shopping Centre. The proposed development will consist of: the provision of a two storey, drive-thru restaurant (571 sq m) with an enclosed yard (19 sq m ) including the ancillary sale of hot food for consumption off the premises; vehicular and pedestrian access; footpaths; the partial re-arrangement of the existing Wilton Shopping Centre car park resulting in the net reduction of 28 no. car parking spaces on the site of the proposed restaurant; the provision of 2 no. disabled parking spaces and 1 no. set-down space to the west of the internal access road in lieu of area primarily used for standard parking spaces; 10 no. covered bicycle parking spaces; signage (elevational and freestanding including a 7.45 metre high internally illuminated monument sign to replace the existing monument sign); freestanding structures for the drive-thru restaurant including a height restrictor and customer order points with canopies; outdoor seating area with associated fence and lighting; plant; hard and soft landscaping; boundary treatments including the provision of a retaining wall along the eastern and southern boundary of the restaurant; and all associated site works above and below ground.
