to carry out the following development: 1) Construct new footpath linking Tuamgraney village to existing amenity trail at Raheen Road, Tuamgraney, Co Clare and will traverse the townlands of Tuamgraney and Ballyquin. 2) Construct new raised zebra crossing. 3) Provision of pedestrian counter and outdoor seating area. 4) All ancillary site works. In accordance with the Habitats Directive, Appropriate Assessment Screening has been carried out on the project. A preliminary examination of the nature, size and location of the development has been carried out pursuant to Article 120(1) of the Planning & Development Regulations, 2001 (as amended) and it has been concluded that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development and, accordingly, and Environmental Impact Assessment is not required
