The Geothermal plant building will house ground source heat pumps and will be connected by buried pipework to a series of geothermal boreholes located to the south of the existing hospital. This Geothermal Plant is set to serve the previously granted Cavan General Hospital extension planning application, Ref-2460276. The application includes all associated boundary treatments, landscaping, and site development works necessary to facilitate the installation and integration of the development within the hospital grounds
