Proposal description

To construct (i) new single storey extension to the Eastern side of the existing loading bay building, (ii) new single storey extension to the Northern, Eastern and Western sides of the existing Lairage building to incorporate extension of Lairage area, staff facilities and truck wash for the purpose of increasing production at their processing facility to 300 tonnes of chicken per day, (iii) new security hut at the entrance to the site, (iv) new Gantry sign at the entrance to the site. Works include connection to existing site services and associated site development works. The site currently has an EPA IED licence (reg no. P0024-03). An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) has been prepared and will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application.
