Permission for a development to include a solar farm on an area of approximately 17.6 hectares, comprising photovoltaic panels on ground mounted frames, 1 no. onsite 38kV substation, 10 no. single storey inverter/transformer stations, security fencing, a palisade double security gate, 2 no. storage containers, CCTV, a temporary construction stage wheel wash system and all associated ancillary development works. Elgin Energy Services Ltd. are applying for the proposed solar farm to have planning permission that is effective for 10 years (an an operational period of 40 years). A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared and will be submitted to the planning authority with the planning application
