The proposed development will consist of: the construction of an extension to the existing single storey discount foodsore, including off-licence use (to north, south and western elevations) by c. 343s q.m additional gross floor area. The gross floor area of the store will increase from c. 1,453 sq.m. (net retail area of 990 sq. m.) to c. 1,796 sq.m. (net retail area 1,316 sq. m.) the proposed development includes a new entrance lobby (north and western elevation), new canopy to replace existing , and relocation of the trolley bay and bicycle stands; 1 no. window sign (western elevation) and 1 no. external wall sign (western elevation): reconfiguration of the existing carpark including an increase of 20 no. carparking spaces from 80 no. spaces to 100 no. spaces; addition of solar panels at roof level (covering c. 124 sq. m. of roof area) and all associated landscaping and site development works on a site of approx. 1.03 ha
